Anyone who has seen “Thor The Dark World” knows that Loki stole the show! He also seems to have stolen Odin’s Spear, Gungnir – again. And who wouldn’t, it is an absolutely stunning weapon. I couldn’t take my eyes off it the whole film – this left me little choice but to run right home and make a version!

Gungnir “Swaying one” is the true name of Odin’s Staff both in the MCU and North mythology.

Perfect for Cosplay as characters from the series or for medieval-style events.

Inscribed with Norse Text along the shaft.

The Spear in the photograph measures 5 feet, 5 inches in length. It can be custom-sized at no extra cost up to 81 inches long. The shaft of the Spear features the beautiful detail of hand-etched Runes and Norse Scroll work, which I was very excited to be able to add to this weapon.

Designed with cosplay and costuming in mind, Gungnir is lightweight and sturdy. Each one is carefully constructed from ABS using 3d printing and PVC pipes, then painstakingly reinforced with several layers of paper mache. Each Scepter is hand painted to give the weapon a metallic appearance.

Because it is so light, the staff is perfect for cons with tighter security. All of my scepters and guns were able to get through the notoriously difficult security at Comic Con India without any problems.

In an effort to cut back on shipping costs and to make the scepter easier to travel with in general, it was designed to split into three separate parts. When disassembled, the scepter will fit into most checked luggage – making it perfect for those who frequently fly to conventions.
